International Scientific Conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists "Lomonosov-2024" at the Shenzhen MSU-BIT University
“Shenzhen MSU-BIT University” regional scientific platform has been organized on the basis of a Joint university established by Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government.
The decision to establish a joint Russian-Chinese university was made on May 20, 2014 during the official visit of President of the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China. On September 5, 2014, a Founding agreement was signed between MSU and BIT.
Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (SMBU) is a unique interstate scientific and educational center created on the basis of the leading universities of the two countries. The activities of the SMBU are aimed at strengthening international scientific and technical cooperation, expanding cultural ties between the countries, ensuring a high level of education in the most popular fields of knowledge and training young specialists necessary for the implementation of expanding economic projects of the two countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
To date, there are 10 faculties at the SMBU: Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Geography, Faculty of Materials Sciences, Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Faculty of Management and Engineering, as well as scientific and educational centers: Center for Comparative Law, Center for Eurasian Studies, Center for Chinese Language, Center for Russian Language, Center for English Language. The teaching is conducted in Russian, English and Chinese.
Scientific directions of the regional platform " Shenzhen MSU-BIT University":
- computational mathematics and cybernetics;
- fundamental materials science and nanomaterials;
- biological sciences;
- philological sciences;
- economic sciences;
- ecology and environmental management.
The work of the site takes place in the following sections:
- Russian language. Russian Russian language and culture; modern Russian language; Russian literature;
- Applied mathematics and computer science;
- biology. Subsections: ecology and biodiversity; nanobiotechnology;
- geography. Subsection Ecology and nature management;
- fundamental materials science and nanomaterials;
- economics and business.
Date of the conference: from April 12 to April 26, 2024.
Applications are accepted until February 16, 2024.
